Dr. Anthony Fauci expected to join Gov. Ned Lamont to tout Connecticut’s success in controlling coronavirus

In Connecticut, hospitalizations have dropped more than 95% after reaching a peak of nearly 2,000 in April. Based on statistics released Friday, 69 patients with COVID-19 were being treated in hospitals around the state. The number dropped further on Monday to 56 patients in the hospital, and the state’s positivity rate was 0.7 percent, Gov. Ned Lamont said.
